The condo was clean, bright and very nice. The only dining table was outside on the lanai, but they had a bar to sit at inside. You don't have a view of the ocean, but we don't tend to spend a lot of time indoors. The water pressure in the attached bathroom was almost non-existent, so we were glad the smaller bathroom was better. There was a tiny stacking washer and dryer that was challenging to figure out how to use. I had to browse the internet to get the instructions. Once figured out it was great for small loads. The parking is advertised for compact cars and it's very true. They have old shopping carts available by the elevators to help bring your luggage to your condo.

A neat little condo that is close to lots of dining and shopping options within walking distance. Everything you may need was stocked here including a cooler and ice packs for going to the beach. One item to be aware of is the parking spot in the garage is tight and a little tricky to navigate. All in all, loved the location and nicely decorated, comfortable condo. The bed was very comfortable and the washer and dryer were a nice feature.
Good location and decent home base for our trip

We enjoyed our stay and the customer service from Big Island Stays was excellent. The place is in a good spot close to downtown but not directly in downtown. We could walk to things and not have to hunt for parking, but it was a bit quieter location. It did get a bit loud from traffic on Kuakini Hwy. Mostly this was at commute times morning and evening so not really annoying. Once in awhile in the middle of the night there was someone going by with a super loud engine or stereo that'd wake us up. Overall the place was a good base for us to sleep and have downtime when we weren't out doing things around the island.

In 25 years of renting vacation properties in Hawai’i, this rental property has thoughtfully provided just about everything we needed to feel like home away from home, even SHARP usable knives and abundant kitchen utensils for food preparations. Kudos to person responsible. Mahalo

This was my first time in Hawaii. Dawn and her team made the process so easy. The cleanliness of the condo was immaculate. They were very responsive and addressed any concerns that I may have had. Everything was at my fingertips such as cooking supplies, beach equipment,etc. This is my new home away from home! Excellent location! Walking distance to downtown Kona!

We had a great stay in this condo! Exactly as pictured, and the multiple fans made it very comfortable, even if we didn't run the AC units. A pleasant surprise was the plentiful supplies of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, laundry and dishwasher detergent so we didn't have to purchase those for our stay. Be sure to check out Magic Sand Beach just up the road a ways - it is beautiful, and was made much more comfortable by the beach towels and beach chairs provided with the condo. Thanks for a fabulous time!
Great Condo and Location

A short walk to shops and restaurants. Probably the most well-stocked place we’ve ever stayed. The only thing that would have made it better would be a view- although the birds, gecko’s and bees in the forested area were relaxing to watch.

Hands down, this was one of the best properties we have stayed out. Unit was immaculate clean, we had all the basic supplies plus extras including spices, coolers (large and small), ice packs, bandaids, nightlights, everything you could possibly think of. Location was great, about a 5 min walk to town. Unit was quiet, furniture and bed was very comfortable. Unit also had two air conditioners. Most of the time you do not need air in Hawaii but we hit a very hot, humid spell and we were so comfortable because of the great air conditioning. Staff management was very responsive to any concerns or issues (very minor) that we had. Would definitely recommend this property without any hesitation.

A well appointed condo for our Kona adventure.Everything was provided for our exploring Kona. The location was great, close to many restaurants and activities.
The condo was clean with a lovely outdoor space. We appreciated the secure parking garage.
Very Nice and Convenient

Online booking, payment and information exchange/updates were all smooth. Staff responded to emails very quickly. Easy, 10 minute drive from/to KOA. Our (two adults) stay in the property (Kona Pacific D526 - 4 occupants max) was very, very nice. Quiet, never heard a sound from any neighbors (side, above or below) while in the unit, and never heard traffic either. All the basic supplies were there (e.g., cooking/eating, towels, bedding, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, trash bags, etc.). The location was good for WALKING access to downtown Kailua-Kona including restaurants, farmer's market, souvenir stores; as well as DRIVING to grocery stores and the many ‘sights' (harbors for snorkeling and manta tours, South Point, Green Sand and Black Sand beaches, green sea turtle viewing at Kaloko-Honokohau NHP, HI Volcanoes NP, Waipi'o Valley, etc.). Vehicle access to both Ali'i and Kuakini Highways from/to the property was a great convenience as well. Elevator access to condo from the parking garage was wonderful. Every 'appliance' worked well -- from the WiFi to the two floor-level/in-wall AC units, to water heater, frig, stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, washer & dryer, ceiling fans, etc. Very comfortable bed. Website photos are pretty accurate, although probably taken immediately after painting/update -- still, quite representative of the inside of the unit. Common pool area seemed fine, but we never used it. This is technically a 5th-floor unit, but at that end of the complex I think you are just 3 floors up (with one more above you). The Lani is okay, but basically just looking directly at trees/bushes along the close property boundary -- obviously 'noisy' out there when the AC units run -- and they push their hot air that direction. Parking garage keeps the sun off the rental vehicle; the assigned spot is a bit tight, but anything less than a full-size SUV or big passenger van should fit - height clearance is ~6'6" (we had a Dodge Durango and it did fine). !! Would definitely choose to stay here again !!

Great location within walking distance to restaurants and shops along main drive in Kailua Kona. It was clean and well equipped with the basics. Lanai has view of flowering trees. We travelled all over the island and it was a great base to start from each day. We had a great time in Hawaii and hope to visit again.
