5/5

We had a really good experience here. The house was very clean, they worked with us to let us in early which was really kind. We had 9 of us, with 3 little kids staying there and it seemed like there was plenty of space. It is centrally located to most everything to get to in under 20 minutes. There is a lot of food options and a grocery store/drugstore nearby. We never felt unsafe in the area either, and did not have any issues with loud neighbors or dogs barking. I will state that, like many houses in St. Louis, it is older and was creaky - which was a little difficult with our babies going to bed so much earlier than everyone else. I would definitely stay here again!

Private note from Abby:
The back gate could be fixed, as it doesn’t open all the way because it is not level. Also, the key pad going to the back yard is very difficult to open and get it to lock (need 2 hands to turn the deadbolt) - at one point we had to walk around the back alley and go through the front door to get inside. Also, we used the back yard a decent amount and the patio furniture was pretty well worn, with the seats starting to rip from the weather. Additionally, under the house (the crawl space next to the patio) had broken glass and trash. We used the garbage can to block it off from the kids playing. Otherwise we had a great experience, and I still gave you 5 stars. Nothing that would’ve been convenient to fix while we were there since we were doing stuff and had a dog with us and no kennel for him to be in if someone showed up to the house. Thanks again! We will definitely stay here again if it is available! Thank you for letting us check in early too - it made a big difference to us!

Great place!

Literally the perfect place in St Louis ! Plenty of room and the area is nice. I loved that I was 15-20 minutes from anything and everything

Great location lots of space for 5 people.

Private note from Elda:
There was moldy bread left behind in the cupboards and the beds were a little hard

by Pamela 2025-05-27

We enjoyed our stay. The house was conveniently located and the neighborhood was quiet.

Private note from Pamela:
The kitchen chairs and living room chairs are a bit wobbly and could use repair. We had older relatives with us who mentioned a bar in the shower would have been helpful for them.

My sisters and I loved it here. We were amazed at how the inside looked. It was definitely a cozy home. The hosts were so friendly and communication was great. They even sent us a list of restaurants and things to do after confirming our reservation. The bedrooms were clean and beautiful and each room had its own tv. The kitchen came with all the pots, pans, dish ware, and utensils we needed for our stay. Even though we didn’t have any kids with us on the trip, they even had a high chair, crib, and baby utensils for kids. The backyard is the perfect place to chill but bring your bug spray for the mosquitoes! (Not the host’s fault) I absolutely loved the additional parking in the back that allows you to go through the backyard to get to the house. The only thing about that is the back gate locks from the inside so someone would have to go through the front to let the person parking in the back in. That’s literally the only con. I would highly recommend this bnb.

Private note from Ashley: Thank you guys again for sharing your beautiful home with us. I loved it here!

Great place, safe neighborhood and very quiet. Like just like the pictures, everything works great in the house.

Private note from Justin: Check your chairs and stools, they are getting wobbly.

This place was the perfect venue for our purpose. Our daughter got married in the park in the morning and graduated from Optometry school in the afternoon! The next day we moved her out of her apartment and into her new home back in Wisconsin. It was a whirlwind, but other than those things, we spent our entire time here. This was our first time meeting our s-i-l's family. Fortunately, they were great! We played corn hole and grilled out in the nice backyard where the dog and toddler could run free within the fence. We played games looked at photos and watched home videos in the kitchen/family room area. There was plenty of room for the eleven of us to socialize although only five of us stayed overnight. I wish we could've stayed longer and used the basement space as well. This place was so much better than staying in hotel rooms. We had all the conveniences of home. JZ did an excellent job of remodeling this place. It's absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Plus 2 car garage!

Private note from Patricia : A couple of minor things: 1) bedroom door one closes on its own. I like to leave it open a crack while i use the bathroom at night so i don't wake people. 2) bathroom door needs a little oil for the same reason as above. 3) bathroom floor behind the door needs cleaning. 4) I'm not sure that the decorative lights outside worked or how to work them. I worksheets loved to have used them. 5) rather than linking to a calendar in your texts, please link to the app. 6) allow more comment space (probably an airbnb thing?) because i would've commented on the cost/benefit compared to hotel and that i would definitely stay again despite the questionable neighborhood. Man... that guy next store really needs to clean up! If we ever use airbnb again, i hope to find JZ rentals wherever we're going! Great job!!

Overall this was a great location to stay at. There was only a slight problem checking in but for the most part it was a great experience!

The house was clean and well stocked. The tv's were all set up to easily watch a wide variety of programs and there were tv's in every bedroom. There was plenty of street parking, as well as the garage. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for our event filled weekend. Very clean! The garage and fully fenced yard made it very comfortable for us to enjoy the backyard with our dog. It was well stocked and loved that there were TVs son every room. It was located close to many attractions.

My husband, middle son and I came in from Bolivar and my oldest son and his wife flew in from Minnesota for my father-in-laws funeral. This house was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, plenty of lines provided and the kitchen was very well stocked for preparing food. It was nice being able to park in the garage and not have to worry about street parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Very well equipped kitchen. Perfect for a family gathering. Nice to have garage parking due to limited street parking and great yard for dog owners

by Janet 2023-09-08

Beautiful home full of amenities. Everything possibly needed was included. All inquiries were immediately responded to. Will definitely seek out JZ Vacation Rental's for future stays. Hosts goes above and beyond!!

Communication was great, and the place was clean and accommodating.

by Alyssa 2023-09-08

This property was perfect for our group! Had everything we needed and plenty of parking options. The street was very quiet and having access to parking in the back as well as the front was great. The home itself gave our large group plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed hanging out on the front and back porch. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Hosts were very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions we had. The only issue we ran into was the sliding door at the top of the stairs, we had toddlers and the stairs are pretty steep. There is a baby gate, but the way the angles worked, it was too hard for the bigger kids to climb over. It would of been a little easier if there was some type of locking mechanism for the sliding door, but this didn't take away from our experience with this property. It was overall clean and inviting! Would stay again.

by Mandy 2023-09-08

Cute place, close to all down town activities we wanted to do. Plenty of room for our family!! Would stay here again!!

by Bonnie 2023-08-16

The check in was seamless and the accommodations were just what we were looking for. We spent the majority of our stay out and about, but wished we'd allowed more time to enjoy the comfort of this home located in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for our group of five and the kitchen was well stocked. (08.09.2023)

Was just perfect. Well stocked kitchen. Gas grill. Plenty of parking. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Good location.

Quiet neighborhood, very clean modern property, loaded kitchen, great appliances, comfortable living, easy access to all sightseeing .

Immaculate and comfortable home!

by Jacqueline 2023-03-17

This place was absolutely stunning. Extremely clean! There was nothing missing from this place! Garage in the back, fully stocked kitchen, remotes that control the lights and ceiling fans in every room! There was a tv in every room, everything was beautifully decorated, check in and out was seamless. I can't think of any flaws! Just be aware that there is parking the the front but it is street parking so the garage in the back is the way to go, you have to go around the corner to access the little alleyway to get to it! It was perfect and I would stay a million times over!

I really appreciated staying in this beautiful home during my recovery from surgery. My family who came from out of town were really impressed with the place and felt like we were right at home. The owners were very responsive and had everything we needed readily available.

by Sarah 2023-03-07

Beautiful home and had all the amenities we needed. Quiet neighborhood

by John 2023-02-16

Perfect accommodations for the whole family. We came in for a Billikens game, arrived late and greatly appreciated everything to make a much needed pot of coffee in the morning. Keyless entry was a bonus for easy arrival and departure.
