Summer activities include hiking the Tahoe Rim and Pacific Rim trails, exploring Desolation and Mokelumne Wildernesses, fishing, and enjoying Lake Tahoe.

In the fall, witness the breathtaking spectacle of fall colors as golden aspens contrast with the lush greens of firs and pines in nearby Hope Valley.

In the winter, strap on snowshoes or cross-country skis, or grab a sled and head to the backyard or neighborhood trails. Head to your choice of Sno-Parks off Hwy 50 or 88. Downhill skiing is easily accessible at Heavenly Resort (11 miles away), the beginner- and family-friendly Sierra-At-Tahoe Resort (11 miles away), and serious Kirkwood Resort (23 miles away). Some of these resorts also offer cross-country skiing or snowshoeing on groomed and ungroomed trails.

Far from the hustle and bustle, this one-acre property sits at the end of a secluded driveway, bordering Forest Service land and the tranquil Upper Truckee River. This 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom house boasts a spacious gourmet kitchen, two TVs, and plenty of room for groups to unwind. The master bedroom overlooks the river, while the downstairs bedroom features an en-suite bath. Stay connected with high-speed wireless internet throughout the house and deck.

Please note that the property does not allow pets due to the owner s severe allergies. Guests are encouraged to respect quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with a maximum occupancy of 8 guests (children up to 5 years of age don t count toward the occupancy limit!). Guests must adhere to the VHR Permit Number and Transient Occupancy Tax Number regulations. Additionally, guests must sign a contract with the property management company to receive check-in instructions and access to the property.

This house has whole-house cooling. When used correctly, it works like AC. A large fan in the attic pulls all the hot air out of the house. You need to leave a window cracked open to help with airflow. It works very well to cool the whole house. When it is 90F outside, it will be in the low 70s inside.
