This condo was beautiful and exactly as described. Tim from Big Island Stays was great to work with, very responsive and easy to communicate with. The view is stunning, and the location is peaceful. All the listed amenities were available and in great condition. The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful added features, and we loved that each evening at 6 p.m. sharp, a few gentlemen serenaded us with the sound of conch shells. I highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Kona, it's perfectly located for exploring the Big Island.

This was our third consecutive stay in Kona Reef F22 and we enjoyed it as much as before. Unfortunately we won't be able to book for next year but look forward to returning soon. The condo remains in excellent condition with a full complement of amenities. The view is fantastic, especially at sunset and the short walk into the village provides easy access to shops and restaurants. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the Kona coast!

This is a first class apartment kept in immaculate condition, very comfortable with all facilities and appointments. Newly refurbished, new appliances,kitchen and bathroom. Very clean. Our apartment was quiet. Great view over pool to ocean. Location good with local restaurants walkable, but car necessary for supermarkets. Check in easy, and all email queries from Australia answered promptly.

We loved almost everything about our stay at Kona Reef (unit F22). The condo was beautifully decorated, the view from the lanai (with wide sliding doors) was amazing, and the amenities were perfect. Beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella were provided. The unit also provided basic kitchen needs, wifi, books, games, binoculars, and other items. AC units in the living room and the bedroom worked wonderfully. The pool area was cleaned every morning, and every evening at sunset, the residents blew conch shells. The rocks in front of the complex provided fun tidepool viewing as well. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops, too. As a family of four with a 14yo and a 10yo, I think we would do a larger unit next time, but that's more because we have a snorer in the family and because it would have been great to have the ability for two to shower at once. The owners have clearly worked hard to provide a comfortable experience for guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Kona Reef in Unit F22. The condo remains in excellent condition and provides all the amenities one expects to ensure your vacation is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. The location is a big seller for this unit. It is next door to Honl's Beach, the views from the lanai are superb, and it is a short 10-12 minute walk into the village. We have booked this unit for next year and hope to keep repeating for years to come.

Our visit to this property was amazing. Hawaiian Isle Real Estate made booking this property, checking in and checking out easy. The location is magnificent (within walking distance to restaurants and shops), and we liked the view of both the ocean and the pool. The condo was clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with the basics, including lots of towels. The bed was comfortable, which is so important. And oh, there were so many hangars in the closet. We also appreciated the ensuite washer and dryer. The owners did an amazing job of decorating the condo and keeping it in excellent condition, including new appliances and some recent renovations. You will need a car to get groceries, but we wanted one anyway to tour around the big Island. We are happy to give this condo a thumbs up 5/5.

The property is walking distance to downtown Kona. Clean with a wonderful oceanfront view. The apartment complex itself is very unassuming but the room is very nice, updated and again, the view is wonderful! Waking up, drinking coffee on the balcony watching the ocean is the perfect way to start your day. Watching the sunset from the patio was great as well. Management was very accommodating and friendly answering any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Nice 4th floor unit with a wonderful oceanfront view. Plenty of towels, beach and pool equipment, cooking items for food preparation. fully stocked kitchen. Brand new LG washer and dryer. Very quiet area of complex. Residents of the complex we met at the pool were very friendly and welcoming. Close to all the shopping and restaurants right in the neighborhood. Easy access to every part of town. Owner and manager of unit made reservation and access to unit seamless.

This VRBO was FANTASTIC!!! Great location, beautifully decorated, thoughtfully stocked...it had EVERYTHING we needed (except for a pizza cutter...but there were knives :). Excellent rental unit! Many amenities already provided which is very convenient. The little welcome gift was thoughtful. The unit was extremely clean with cute plates, bunch of utensils and everything you need for cooking. The sheets were crispy white, clean and the bed was super comfortable. Very spacious lanai with a fabulous ocean and the sunset view. We ate on the lanai every morning while watching the surfers catching the waves :) Hopefully we’ll be able to rent again when we return to Kona in March and next summer. Thank you very much for everything!

This vacation to the Big Island was by far the best ever. The condo at Kona Reef was perfect. It had all the amenities we needed. Not to mention the perfect location and view. Where else can you go and watch the surfers, waves crashing on the rocks. and the view of the pool, watching the cruise ships arrive and the beautiful sunsets. Mahalo for a wonderful time.

This unit has wonderful panoramic ocean views from the lanai. It's well stocked and tastefully furnished. Has updated AC, appliances, and new window and slider. We had no issues during our stay and check out was very simple. Kona Reef is the perfect location for Kona. Quiet but only a couple minutes walk from everything downtown.

This was our first trip to the big island of Hawaii and our stay here did not disappoint. The condo had everything we needed. We really appreciated the extras such as the beach chairs, beach umbrella, and cooler for beach trips. The oversized beach towels were wonderful after a dip in the pool or after some snorkeling. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The king bed was very nice and comfy, especially with the overhead ceiling fan. It was so nice to sleep and wake to the sound of the ocean each day. The lanai was wonderful to sit and relax and enjoy the ocean any time of day, especially the gorgeous sunsets. It was very quiet here, it was peaceful and enjoyable. There was plenty of room for parking and it was also easy to walk to lots of places very close. This is an outstanding and beautiful condo set on the ocean. It's hard to leave and return home, we had such a great time here. It was a perfect stay!!!
