Hazel's Hideaway is a detached one-bedroom guest cottage on a gated corner lot in one of Sarasota's historic neighborhoods, where the Rosemary District meets Gillespie Park. Main Street and downtown Sarasota are nine blocks away. The cottage covers 555 square feet: a separate bedroom with a king bed, a full bath, a kitchenette and a living room. Its setting is private and poolside, with a 30-foot lap pool for morning laps or a slow afternoon float. Gillespie Park is less than two blocks off, with tennis and basketball courts, a dog park, a pond and a gazebo, which helps because both dogs and cats are welcome here. Sheets and bath towels are supplied, the kitchenette comes with cooking and eating utensils, and a starter set of paper goods and soaps covers the first days.
